The Squirrel Buster Plus feeder breaks new ground with design features available for the first time on any bird feeder. Openings in the bottom section of the feeder align with seed ports, providing birds with access to the seed. When a squirrel climbs on the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing the seed ports foiling their attempt to eat the birdseed. The sensitivity of the closing mechanism can be adjusted to exclude squirrels, chipmunks and, if desired, large birds like grackles and starlings.
